The upcoming Joint Congress: Hard Winter Wheat Workers Workshop & National Wheat Genomics Workshop will be held March 7-10, 2010 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The following agencies are involved in bringing these workshops to you: USDA-ARS, UNL Agronomy & Horticulture, National Wheat Improvement Committee, Hard Winter Wheat Workers, and the National Wheat Genomics Committee.

Hotel Information
The Workshops will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel on 1040 P Street in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska which is conveniently located close to the UNL City Campus. Guest rooms are available for participants at a special conference and can be reserved by calling toll free 800-Embassy (362-2779) or (402)474-1111. To receive this rate, please indicate that you are attending the Joint Congress: Hard Winter Wheat Workers Workshop & National Wheat Genomics Workshop. Make your reservation early in order to secure lodging. Attendees will make accommodations on their own and be responsible for their own charges

Travel Information
If you plan to fly to get to the conference, the two nearest airports are located in Lincoln and Omaha, NE. If you arrive in Lincoln, you can use the Embassy Suites Hotel courtesy van service to get from the airport to the hotel. If you arrive in Omaha, you can reserve space on a shuttle that transports passengers from the Omaha airport to/from the Embassy Suites (and other Lincoln hotels). See the below links for more details. Car rental services are convenient at both airports. Lincoln is approximately a one-hour drive from Omaha.
For those who plan to drive to Lincoln, located in the southeastern part of Nebraska, it is located along I-80 (E-W) and U.S. Highway 77 (N-S).
